Teen Read Week 2006
It's Teen Read Week at the library again, starting on October 15, 2006, and ending on October 21, 2006!
Beginning on Monday, October 16, and lasting for the whole week, come into the library and get free items when you check out a book in the Young Adult section!
To promote and encourage reading, we are giving the first ten teens to borrow a book or magazine a free plastic stadium cup, and there are also free pencils and bookmarks available. Supplies are limited, so come and get them while they last!
This year's theme is Get Active @ Your Library! Teens, you can use the resources at your library to lead an active life! Show your support for the library and reading by voting for your favorite books, suggesting future Teen Read Week themes, taking the Smartgirl.org Teen Reading Survey, or even win a free trip to the 33rd Annual National Library Legislative Day (NLLD), which will be held in the Nation’s Capital on May 1 & 2, 2007. All you have to do is submit a winning theme idea and logo for National Library Legislative Day!
