Did a book inspire you? Then write a personal letter to the author (living or dead) explaining why. The Letters About Literature 2005-2006 writing contest, held by the Center for the Book in the Library of Congress, invites readers from grades 4-12 to enter. Winners at the state and national levels will receive cash awards and a $50 or $500 Target GiftCard. The deadline is December 1, 2005.
